While shoppers were busy searching the malls for awesome deals, NBA owners and players were busy negotiating a deal to end the 149-day NBA lockout. In the wee hours of the morning, after several weeks of negotiations, the NBA announced a tentative deal to end the 5-month lockout with the 66-game season scheduled to resume on Christmas day.Basketball fanatics were excited, players were excited (check out their responses on Twitter)and naturally, we were excited as well The end of the lockout will hopefully mean more internship opportunities for students.
